How to run games on full screen in Windows 7/8/10

There is a serious flaw in Windows 7/8 Operating Systems that most of the games do no utilise whole screen while running on a full screen mode. I was recently playing Need For Speed Most Wanted and i hate it when the screen utilisation is so poor.

Somehow, i found out how to make full utilisation of the screen.
Here is how you can do it.

  • Goto run by pressing Windows+R and type 'regedit' and click on OK.
  • Goto following path - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > ControlSet001 > Control > GraphicsDrivers > Configuration

  • Now select the sub path 00 in the first subfolder and click on scaling. Following window will appear.
  • Change the value from 4 to 3 in all the '00' subfolders(6) present in configuration folder and click on OK for all.

Now you can enjoy full screen game will utilisation of full screen and no space lag.
